Geometry question

by "Jerry Beeler" <jerrybeeler@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 18, 2008 at 10:10 AM

A cylindrical pipe has a radius of 100 inches and a length of 30 feet.

The pipe was run under a road, but, due to an error it had to be removed
and
dropped 18 inches below it's original position.

What is the volume of the void that is left from the original position?

Note: This void has to be filled with $200/square yard material so I have

to be accurate.

Thanks!
