I don't know how you searched, but some thoughts...
Add the term biography or history to your search string.
If you still don't get much, try using a shorter version of his name.
You might also try something like
electricity history
Did you try Wikipedia directly?
It may be that a good old fa****oned encyclopedia would be best here,
at least as a start. Or browse library shelf for physics books, and
some may have some historical material.
