The system administrator should be able to block sites at the server level
locally. In addition, if you access the internet through a state network
(in
Tennessee, ours is Ten-Nash), sites can be blocked for the entire network.
Or, just plain don't allow students access without active supervision. I
didn't even have the internet plugged in on my classroom computers most of
the time.
