Repost: Science and Sanity Blog

by "The Thunder Child" <thethunderchild@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 6, 2005 at 08:04 PM

Hi, guys

I'm re-posting this with a different title because the wary might think
my previous header (Learn new facts every day) might be some kind of
spam post, as it seems a lot of them here are.

But, this is serious! For adults who are serious about continuing their
education, just for hte fun of it.

Just want to introduce my blog, Science and Sanity.

http://thethunderchild.blogspot.com

I'm greatly interested in the various sciences - from the earth to the
moon!

I don't pursue my interest in the college classroom - no need, really,
when with a little planning it's perfectly possible to create a
systematic study of the sciences by simply creating my own 'curriculum'

and reading books on the subject.

And I've decided to start a blog in which I record interesting new
facts I discover in my readings. (I also publish a sci-fi webzine and I

discuss that occasionally, too).

The main purpose of this blog is that I'd like to see people come to it

who are interested in educating themselves, and see this as an easy way

to 'learn a new fact a day.'

I'd appreciate it if people would take a look at the blog and tell me
if they think it's something that they'd be interested in (people who
have an interest in the sciences, anyway) or if its just a dead loss.

(But if it is, I hope you'll put it in a kinder phrase!)

Thanks

Caroline
