We are a leading Italian business school and, for a major TVET project
in Romania, we are looking for qualified experts both for long-term and
short-term positions.
The project is: "Improvement of region specific technical and
vocational education training system". The objective of the project
is to increase the access and participation to initial vocational
training and to sup****t the adjustment and improvementof the VET
sector, by contributing to enhanced adaptability and employability of
labour force at the regional and local level. This one-year project is
scheduled to start in December 2006. The 6 positions we are looking for
are:
1. Team Leader (long term, min. 10 months):
Management of the project and the experts; financing management
monitoring; project implementation in line with Phare / PRAG
procedures.
2. Expert for implementation of Qualification Framework (EQF or NQF)
and Quality Assurance (CQAF) in VET (long term, min. 10 months):
Organization of school based assistance to 150 school directors /
deputy general school inspectors / MoEr inspectors; preparation of
monitoring guidelines; formulation of recommendation papers for
improvement; draft of methodology for implementing the model.
3. Curriculum, didactic material in VET and CVT, including distance
learning, teacher training (short term, min. 6 months):
Assessment of the impact of the implementation of training standards,
curriculum and didactic materials, guidebooks, etc.; assessment of
teachers' performance after introducing new methodologies;
recommendations for improving the teachig methods; elaborating
guidebooks for developing and implementing distance education modules;
conducting training sessions; elaborating mathodologies to enhance the
learning environment and University improvement.
4. Expert for Qualifications and Quality Assurance in HE (long term,
min. 10 months):
Organizing the assistance to universities; consultancy to HE academies
staff in charge with qualification profiles development; preparing
monitoring guidelines; formulating recommendation papers for
improvement; guiding, monitoring and preparing corrective actions;
ensuring the implementation of the NQF for qualifications delivered
through the higher education system; providing training; cooperation
for the REAPs updating.
5. Expert for labour market and sectoral development, including
planning mechanism for national / regional / local labour markets
(short term, min. 6 months):
Conducting studies on labour markets and sectors and revising existing
REAPs, LEAPs and SAPs; applying research data in policy documents and
making recommendations for further revision of vocational
qualifications; collaborating with the Regional Consortia in refining
the planning mechanisms.
6. Expert for using financial mechanisms such as ESF or other funds to
enhance community regeneration and social inclusion through education
and training (short term, min. 6 months):
Providing training and advice to schools and universities; applying
policy recommendation for developing CVT and other community services;
collaborating with the Regional Consortia in applying recommendations
of NDP and REAPs.
