Reality TV: Wouldn't it be great if . . .

1 In***bent politicians were required at gun-point to produce

demonstrable results which their respective party's nominees

casually promise, campaign promises which, historically, have
seldom if ever been kept, once those politicians got elected?
Is it not in***bent upon politicians to keep their promises?

I'll tell you what would happen. The politicians would stop
making campaign promises altogether, knowing their promises
to the American people, and for that matter other countries'
politicians' promises to their people, have never been worth

diddly-squat. As the late great comedian George Carlin said,
"Power does what it wants to." And I like his timeless quote
from a 1993 HBO Comedy Special (George Carlin's Golden Rule
of Government) "Everything the government tells me is a lie!"

2 Wa****ngton, D.C. was held nuclear hostage, you know, like with

a twenty or thirty megaton thermonuclear warhead located smack-
dab in the heart of the Capitol? What might the hostage-takers

demands be? I guess the real question is, would it ever come to
that? Or would they just "nuke first, and ask questions later"?

I'm sure a lot of people have pondered man's Doomsday scenario,

but how many people have really thought about it? I don't mean
like with "war games", but in actuality, actually going through
with it! I've thought about it, and try as I might, I can't see
why anyone would risk taking hostages in such a grave situation,
no pun intended. If anyone gained command and control over such
  a highly-classified, extremely-restricted and very well-guarded

high-energy nuclear device, they would likely only have seconds
before Uncle Sam's finest were all over them like white on rice,

meaning, they wouldn't have the luxury of hesitation, but would
have to launch (or detonate it in place) the moment they gained
control over it. The only other question which arises, is would
they have sent out a mass-email, or something, to all the major

news media moments prior to or more likely after detonation, in
order to explain why they did it? Again try as I might, I can't
see why they would do this, seeing that the act itself would be

self-explanatory. And no matter what they said, you can be sure
her vestiges military, being utterly infuriate, and filled with
wrathful vengeance, would retaliate reciprocally at least, else

with vastly more destructive power, blaming the islamo-fascists,
who in turn would be motivated to respond with weaponized virus,
since they have no deliverable nukes, i.e. nothing on THAT order.

You see, all the "Whys and Wherefores" shall be lost to the What.
Survivors won't care that it was foretold in Revelation, and the
thousand other Prophecies of old and latter days, because all of

their attention will be on the Present which they must deal with,
as will those billions who must (re)incarnate into the aftermath.

3 There were people actually reading, lurking, "snooping" in these
newsgroups, who have seriously thought about such matters? Might
they have reached similar conclusions? I suppose I'll never know,
since I don't subscribe to usenet newsgroups. But, by definition,
lurkers don't either. Maybe they'll respond to me off the record?

Armageddon Cometh,
Daniel Joseph Min
