In the context of the discussion, the main factor is the failure of
the Mugabe regime do to anything about the behaviors that lead to
AIDS, which is (one must repeat ad nauseum in any discussion of HIV/
AIDS as it affects blacks) and entirely preventable disease. Sub-
Saharan African countries lead the world in HIV/AIDS prevalence, but
most are not as bad as Zimbabwe:

Wonderful insight, Bob. Zimbabweans are fornicating themselves into
extinction, private sector inflation is "well above 100,000%", the
agricultural economy is wrecked, the country is now a net im****ter of
food, unemployment is 80%, 68% of the population is below the poverty
line, but what really matters is that more of them than ever can read
and write and, most im****tant of all, they have *phones*.
