Off the top, I can think of some notable ****trayals.

Jill Clayburgh in "Its my Turn"   (math prof)
John Houseman "The Paper Chase"   (law prof)
Robin Williams in "Good Will Hunting"   (psych prof)
Arthur Hill in "Andromeda Strain   (bio prof)

and of course we have Harrison Ford as an archeology professor........
