Nomenclature has always been a problem for me... so all input and
advice is greatly appreciated.
I have an experimental design that is broken down into 5 timing blocks
(TIME), each timing block is exactly 5 minutes long - Repeated
Measures. (Within Subjects)
Within each timing block, i've recording 3 different behavioral
measures/dependent variables (DV):
1. Reaction Time e.g. (B1FA, B2FA.... with B1FA meaning Block 1 False
Alarm..etc)
2. Hits
3. False Alarms.
*Everything has been broken down into the 5 timing blocks with the
above data.
I also have a between subjects condition, basically a treatment and a
control group.
Since the above within subject factors are effectively independent of
each other, i ran the following:
1. A Repeated Measures analysis with a between subjects factor for
each of the 3 DVs above.
If i got significant main effects for time, what kind of analysis
should i run then? A paired sample t-test, between timing blocks? Or
would it be a simple ANOVA?
Maybe i got it all wrong. Your advise and input would be much
appreciated. Thank you all!
