Logistic Regression Seminar, May 21-22

by "Paul D. Allison" <allison@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 9, 2008 at 04:00 PM

There are still a few seats left in my two-day seminar on Logistic
Regression, which will be presented May 21-22 in San Francisco at the
Club Quarters Hotel. (There are also a limited number of hotel rooms
available at the reduced rate of $167/night).

This is a comprehensive course on logistic regression analysis for
binary dependent variables and related topics. The course will cover
odds and odds ratios, maximum likelihood estimation, convergence
failures, probit regression, ordered logistic regression, multinomial
logit, GEE estimation, multilevel logistic regression, response-based
sampling, Poisson and negative binomial regression, discrete choice
models and longitudinal data analysis.

No previous knowledge of logistic regression is assumed. However,
participants should be familiar with linear regression and basic
principles of statistical inference.

The course is based, in part, on my book Logistic Regression Using SAS:
Theory and Application (SAS Institute, 1999). SAS will be used to
demonstrate the examples, but previous knowledge of SAS is not essential.

The fee of $650 includes all course materials and a continental
breakfast each day. You can get more detailed information about the
course and about me at
