EFC 79999 Is this real

by "Barbara L" <larrain3@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 28, 2007 at 09:12 AM

I filled out the FAFSA because everyone said one should. But I'm not sure
why. Have 1 child going to college for 1st time next fall.

The initial EFC listed on the page printed with the application shows EFC

79892. I guess I must have filled something out wrong to have it be that
high. Any ideas on what could have made it that high. Yearly income
~$100000
both working. Is it that because of Net Worth or section B of worksheet or

income? B seems really high due to untaxed combat pay that was not
re****ted
as income since my husband was deployed as a reservist for iraq & is no
longer, I partially converted a traditional ira to a roth, & we fully fund

our roth ira (none of the ira included in FAFSA net worth) with a yearly
MDR
from an inherited roth ira that also gets listed on the worksheet b? So it

looks like we have about $80000 on worksheet B.

Also when we went to electronically sign the parents it said the pin
didn't
match so choose to sign later. But it does match according to the pin
website information. How do I fix this?

Thanks,
