Michele, I like your notes and I plan to continue hunting on the
websites highlighted above... Mean while...

I opened a business around Feb 1st... That is about two weeks ago...
Tax Preparation office... the office is located with no competition
within a circle of say 1 mile!... I distributed close to 1500 flyers to
all the houses and apartments in the area!... Slashed my prices to
about half of what the closest competitor is charging... I advertised
online!.. so far, I have completed only 5 returns including mine :)...
I expected February to be the perfect time for this... and I expected
the line to be around the corner!... Who can miss my 8 feet banner red
on white ;)!..

is this enough marketing?  Can you think of anything else I can do to
get this business off the ground... I am getting tired of waiting for
the customers :(... I tried to work out some deals with local schools
to let me advertise through the students with the promise to donate
good ****tion of the returns!... however, everybody seems skeptical!...
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
