Topo 7.5' maps from the USGS tend to be UTM, possibly with Lat/Long
markings too. Military uses MGRS, which is a form of UTM. Amateur radio
uses Maidenhead as I recall, but that notation typically stops at the
third refinement level, which covers something that could be 10x20
miles.
