I am not crazy enough to edit my genealogy tree in GEDCOM format by
hand, using a text editor. ;-)

This was exactly my first question. So far I have downloaded three
freeware genealogy programs, installed it, noticed that they missed
the feature to im****t GED files, then removed it from my machine. If
you can point me to the names of some freeware programs able to work
with GED files, I would be very grateful.
