	Use a PDF "printer" and "print" ranges of pages. I believe there is
one or two downloadable "pdf printers" out there. I'm using the $$$
stuff -- ScanSoft (now part of Nuance) "PDF Convert" (which goes both
ways: a PDF generating printer driver, and a module for extracting text
from a PDF file into, say, Word)
