AFAIK, my grandparents, when speaking their Joual, only used the word
<<cave>> to mean cellar. Perhaps modern, metropolitan French uses a
different word to mean the area under the church. But clearly, as I'm
sure other Quebecois will join in, it means "buried in the cellar of the
church."
