I'm looking for information on Isabelle Laronde, wife of Jean-Baptiste
Guérard (dates/locations of birth, marriage and death; names of
parents).
Isabelle and Jean-Baptiste were the parents of at least children:
daughters Marie (b. 1838-1842, d. 1917) who married (in Chapeau, QC)
Joseph Venasse; Célina (b. 1851 Chapeau) who married (in Chapeau)
Edouard/Edward Foisy; and Euphémie (b. 1852 Chapeau).
There is some evidence that suggests Isabelle might be the daughter of
Toussaint Laronde and his wife Marie Kekjicakoe (possibly an
Algonquin), whose marriage was rehabilitated in 1838 in the diocese of
Pembroke, ON.
