Does anyone know if there is/was a town in Quebec named Bifford?
Or elswhere in Canada? I have a marriage record from 1853 in Stanstead
where the parents of the groom are described as living in "Bifford". I
know from
other sources that the parents were living in the Grantham area in
1851.
