If you check the entry in my web site, you will see why all those
years.

born about 1587 (rec-1666), 1589 (rec-1666), 1587 (rec-1667)
We don't know his place of birth. St-Langis is possible since his
children are born there, but he was married in Mortagne so Mortagne
is also possible. Moreover, in his marriage record of 1611, he is
said to be from St-Jean de Mortagne so this place is more likely.

Yves Landry received subsides to check all the old records of that
area. If you want to see if something was found there, try his
server at
http://www.unicaen.fr/mrsh/prefen/formPion.php
If you want to see more, check the original works by Archange Godbout
in Origine des familles canadiennes-française instead of fichier
origine (where about 10% of datasheets have some mistake, in this
case, the 2nd marriage is said to occur in St-Langis but this is
a speculation). From OFC, it seems there is no marriage record
at all at that time.
In OFC, you can at least see the years explored by Godbout and when
records were not complete, i.e. is there any record there showing him
to be married twice or is this proven by some Quebec record. Godbout
also copied the text of many records.
