I can trace my Kipp ancestry family line back to the Lancaster County =
area
of Pennsylvania beginning in the mid 1700s. I believe one of the first =
Kipps
in that area and the one that I can trace back to is Henry Kipp. (I =
believe
my Henry Kipp may be the Johan Henrich Kipp who immigrated to =
Pennsylvania.)
Henry Kipp was my g g g g grandfather. Records exist that state a Johan
Henrich Kipp immigrated to the US via Philadelphia, PA in 1752 on the
William and Mary from Rotterdam, Last from ****tsmouth. He took the Oath =
of
Allegiance on Sept. 26, 1752.

I am looking to make a German connection to this Johan Henrich Kipp who
emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1753. I have located a Johan Henrich Kipp
born in 1733 in Flomborn, Germany but cannot confirm that this is the =
same
Kipp.=20

I do have any records from Pennsylvania that provides his birth date, or
location of birth. He died in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1807. =
This
Kipp family was the only one in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania at that =
time
that I could identify. His wife=92s name was Anna Maria. I do not know =
her
last name or if she immigrated with him or not. I think her death date =
was
about 1812. Henry and Anna Maria had six children. Details on the =
children
are:
Anna Maria Born: 8-25-1759
John Henry Born: 6-17-1761
John George Born: 1763 (My g g g grandfather)
Mary Magdalena Born: 12-22-1765
Anna Catharine Born: 10-11-1768
Marie Gertrude Born: 1-17-1772
Does anyone have information providing further detail on this branch =
before
and after immigration?=20
