Re: GEN-DE Obermeier

I forgot to mention two things. First, the name is spelled Obermyer on
the ****p manifest, but Obermeier (and eventually Obermeyer) after
reaching america. Second, Ludwig emigrated with a Carl Obermyer from
Buttendorf.

Dear list,

I am researching a line of Obermeiers that comes from the town of
Hüllhorst in the church district of Lübbecke. The ancestor I know to
have come from there is Ludwig Obermeier, born 27 Oct 1850. He
immigrated to America and arrived in New York on 6 June 1868. Other
than that I don't know much about him, and I know nothing of his
parents.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Ryan Taber
