Don't be too hard on him, please. Lots of our Germanic ancestors were
from East Prussia, etc., and these folks were our good neighbors. And,
like the above Herr Hoffmann, they did business in the surrounding
countries. In this case, his search for info/comments on a
Germanic-sounding person seems very appropriate for this newsgroup.
