I'm looking for an ancestor who was born ca 1734 in Magvaglia in
Ticino, I think.
He came to The Netherlands and got married in 1761 (Bladel
(Hoogeloon), Nl) with Adriana Stroijbants (Schroevens).
On this marriage certificate his name was Franciscus den Rector and
his place of birth was speld "Malwaalie"
On other certificates I could read "From Italy" and from "Valencien,
Switserland"
I think Mawaalie is Magvalia in Ticino, near the border with Italy.
They had children:
Maria den Rechter, born 19 august 1761, Hoogeloon, Nl,
Josephus Franciscus den Rechter, born 3 augustus 1763 , Hoogeloon, Nl
Margarita den Rechter, geboren op 8 mei 1765, Hoogeloon, Nl,
