I have a book with old pictures of the region Preussisch Holland.
There are some of Buchwalde in this book. Unfortunately your family
names are not mentioned.
The new polish name of Buchwalde is Buczyniec. Buchwalde is the fifth
(and highest) station of the Oberlandkanal (now called Kanal Elblaski)
http://www.pension-talty.de/touren_elblagkanal.html
where ****ps are
carried with a wagon over a hill.

The church records of Reichenbach from 1649-1944 are filmed in salt
lake city. by the lds church. Perhaps you can find out your ancestors
there.

Regards
ralf
