Actually, I just noticed there is crystal clear evidence that Simon
and Lewis Latham were brothers:
"William Latham, called of Elstow, co. Bedford, gent., whose will,
dated 25 July, 1632, names sister Ursula, wife of William Carter,
sister Elizabeth, wife of Thomas ___, brother Simon Latham, and
brother Lewis Latham, the latter of whom is made executor."

Sister Ursula Carter must be the Ursuley Latham who married 28
February 1602 at Bletsoe, Bedford, to William "Parter." Which surname
is correct?
