I know what your saying... the Welsh naming pattern. I have on my notes Sir
David Gam.
He fought at Agincourt for Henry V. He entered service as
DAFYDD-AP-LLEWELLYN.... He was from Breckon****re.
Many of his descendants shortened the name to Games later on.
Your Welsh spelling probably is correct on Gwaldius... I tend to get
away from some of the Welsh spellings. LOL !

I'm not sure about this calling her "Gwaldus Gam".
As far as I know "Gam" was not a surname her father took, but perhaps
something like a nickname, and so would not pass to his children.
You'd be on safer territory calling her something like "Gwaldus verch
Dafydd"
