I've seen this on Barack. I emailed this guy and he never returned my
email. I don't know if this guy knows anymore than anybody else. He works
for the Library of Congress. I don't know if his work is correct or not.

Perhaps. But I find it a bit interesting that W.A.R. doesn't seem to
know or even imply that this Edwin Conway is of a well-heeled family.
See
#14182 http://www.wargs.com/political/obama.html
"Ancestry of Barack Obama", by William Addams Reitwiesner
where Edwin has no date or places associated with him.
The DNB for his pur****ted father only mentions the heir Edward and
states obiqueley that there were "three sons and four daughters"
without naming them.
So one good exercise for you, which you can do *before* responding
(hint hint) is to find a good source in Google Books for stating that
Edwin Conway is the son of Edward the 1st Viscount (by his wife
Dorothy Tracy).
