John and Millicent], b. Feb. 11, 1672/3; m. ca. 1693, Weymouth, Mass.
to John ****ter =85=94 This clearly draws on the =93Carver note=94 by
Joseph=

W. ****ter in Register 55 (1901): 221-2, which does not however assert
the connection, but merely shows Mercy Carver as an unmarried daughter
(no death date given) of John and Millicent (Ford) Carver with a
younger half-sister, Experience Drake (by Millicent=92s second
marriage), who, at age 16 in 1699, chose John ****ter of Weymouth as
her guardian. This is a plausible inference, but is not proven. Note
that John ****ter married, second, to Margaret Ford, a first cousin of
Mercy Carver.]
