descended from this lineage below, supposedly so)
Hello, I have been uncertain and mystified by a genealogical relation
of the Ferrers of Tamworth to Richard Ferris (b. 1585? at Tamworth
Castle, Baddesley, Warwick****re, England? - d. 1614 at
Leicester****re). His wife is unknown (previously it was Ann St. John,
yet unproven) and left issue: his son, Geoffrey or Jeffrey Ferris (b.
1610 - d. 31 May 1666).

What really seem quite a stretch for me is his marriage to "Anne
Howard", the daughter of Thomas Howard, 20th Earl of Arundel and
Countess Alethea Talbot. I've find no evidence of her existence or
being the daughter of that Earl.
I've tried different sources to find any proven relation between them
but inconclusively so far.
Accordingly, the son of Richard, Jeffrey Ferris was described as a
tall, young man with red hair and blue eyes from Derby****re or
thereabout. He was a Protestant joining the wave of English
Protestants from either Suffolk, England or from Holland to the New
World America, establi****ng the Ferris family in America. He had about
3-4 wives and have children, mostly from "Anne Howard".
Can anyone help out solve the genealogical relation of Richard Ferris
to the Ferrers of Tamworth, descended from the Baron Grosby Ferrers
family, as seen below?
