I am now able to add that Frances (Tyrce) Cheney, wife of Sir Oliver
Cheney is of the same immediate family as Anne (Tyrce) Cremer, the
ancestress of Sarah Ferguson.
So if we can firm up that Frances actually is the mother of Martha
Cheney that would add a few more generations to a few thousand living
descendents.
As for the exact path of Sarah Ferguson there is a slight unknown.
Her ancestress Anne married Edmund Cremer of Westwinch and had a
daughter Anne supposedly in 1645 who then married William Lord
FitzWilliam in 1669.
These years are just enough forward that it's possible that this
Anne's father called "Richard Tryce of Godmanchester" is not that one
who married Anne Baud and died between 1604/1617 but rather his
nephew, son of his next elder brother Jasper Tryce.
I'm just not quite sure yet. But it is certain that she is either in
one position or the other.
B.T.W. the progenitor of this family, Thomas Tryce has a PCC Will
proved in 1569
