How interesting. Evidently Jasper Tryce "of Brampton" second son http://books.google.com/books?id=TiUIAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA107 had a son Richard "aet 24" in 1613. Surely he came into Brampton? Samuel Pepys, in discussion his own uncle mentions his widow and a footnote identifies her as Anne, the widow of Richard Trice of Brampton, whom Robert Pepys married in 1630, and that she had two sons from her first marriage Jasper and Thomas. Which would make sense, as her father-in-law was Jasper and his father was a Thomas. http://books.google.com/books?id=ieoXFl3XEMYC&pg=PA134&lpg=PA134&dq=jasper+trice&source=web&ots=5X_5gW_Pjd&sig=du_RhDskisQ_qBTTzGBZ2lsQ4Uo&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=7&ct=result Will Johnson
