Indeed the 1619 Visitation (Harl. Soc. xii (1887) p.7) gives Sir
Humphrey the following sons: Sir John, Thomas, Walter and Edward; also
four named daughters. It seems highly unlikely that any other son who
had lived to have issue would be omitted from the list.
Likewise, the pedigree of the Baddesley Clinton line on p.5, although
more skeletal, gives an Edward Ferrers "borne 1584" with one sister
who dsp.; it would be odd to mention her but not a brother. (Tamworth
and Baddesley are conflated in the account relayed by Rob but are
different places and branches of the family.)
