In material that I inherited (somehow appropriate to the subject!), is
a reference that Abigail Brewer (c. 1748-before 1810), wife of
Sterling Cato, might be a direct descendent of Oliver Cromwell. Has
anyone proven or disproven that? There can't be that many generations
between them because of the relatively short period of time.
