Thanks for this. My connection is through Phebe Hyde, wife of Matthew
Griswold. The genealogies I've seen say she was a daughter of Samuel
Hyde and Jane Lee, and that Samuel was a son of William Hyde of
Norwich and Mary N.N. Said William was a son of William Hyde and
either Ellen Stubbs or Eleanor Molineux (again, so they say).
