Liber vs book

by singhals <singhals@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 1, 2008 at 07:57 AM

I'm aware that most deed books and will books are cited as Liber
this Folio that.

I want to know, however, is it STILL proper to cite them that way
when the object under discussion is labelled "BOOK 1" and the leafs
therein are individually numbered ?

As in:

Liber B Folio 46 refers to do***ent 46 in a book stamped "B".

Book 2 page 436 refers to the 436th side of paper in a book stamped
"2".

*SHOULD* the citation read Liber 2, Folio 436?

Cheryl
