I was also concerned about the issue of blocked communications, but
hadn't had time to really investigate it. After your note, I
checked, and I had also been defaulted to private. Fixed that!

This information really needs to be passed around on the maillists,
but not being a list-wrangler myself, I'm not going there..... I
hope that any list owners will let their members know that they need
to check and fix this. It's easy, and is only a few clicks.
We *do* want to be contacted, out of the blue, three years from now,
by someone we've never heard from...... and who may not have a
subscription to Ancestry. And for 30 seconds of my time, that is
now *not* impossible.
