New MINNESOTA Research Note

by Mary Bakeman <mbakeman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 3, 2008 at 08:23 AM

Finding marriage records can be a challenge, especially in
Minnesota's early days, as the new state filled with immigrants.

Our research note for April reviews governmental marriage records in
Minnesota, and provides some hints for finding them. You can find it
at
    <http://www.parkbooks.com/Html/res_mar2.html>

or <http://www.parkbooks.com/Html/research.html>,
where you can sign
up to get notice each time we add a new note as well.

Minnesota will celebrate 150 years of statehood in May. There will
be a celebration on the state capitol grounds and many other events
around the state. Check in with your counties or areas of interest,
and see what they have planned. It's going to be quite a party!
