I have this book. A very slim, 84 page, non-indexed
book. On the title page it lists: ALFRIEND, ARCHER, BENTLY,
BERNARD, BLAND, BOLLING, BRANCH, CABELL, CATLETT, CARY, DANDRIDGE,
DIXON, DOUGLAS,DUVAL, ELDRIDGE, ELLETT, FERGUSON, FIELD, FLEMING,
GAY, GORDON, GRIFFIN, GRAYSON, HARRISON, HUBARD, LEWIS, LOGAN,
MARKHAM, MEADE, McRAE, MURRAY, PAGE, POYTHRESS, RANDOLPH, ROBERTSON,
SKIPWITH, STANARD, TAZEWELL, WALKE, WEST, WHITTLE, AND OTHERS.
In the preface, it is noted '...relieving the book from unnecessary
en***brance, I have, with few exceptions, omitted from the Register
names barren of progeny, as also, of the almost numberless 'pieces
of justificatifs' obtained by me in aid of my labors."
Hope this helps
A branch of my family is certain we descend from Priscilla Mullens
Alden. I contacted the Society of John Alden and Priscilla Mullens.
They showed no record of anyone of the names I provided. They were
interested to know, though, if I should find any evidence - which
indicates they are still examining evidence and interested in new
data. There may be a Pocahontas Society too, with newer data than
this now 52 year old book. (First published 1956, my book reissued
by GPS in 1986.)
