I am looking for a revolutionary war soldier signed up in Lancaster
South Carolina.
His name was Barnett Johnson Sr. or it could have been Barnett
Johnston, it appears different spellings on the enlistment and the
discharge papers'
He singed his own name with a X, so we are not sure which one it
actually was.
He was a foot soldier, as well as a Horseman, he was born appox. around
1756 and signed up under the command of Col. John Marshal in 1772 in
Lancaster.
If you are interested in genealogy and can help me either find Barnett
Johnson Sr. or a Col. John Marshall from Lancaster county, it would be
deeply appreciated. I do not have computer access and am having a lot of
difficulty finding anything on the webtv.
If you can help me, please write to me at this address, and just address
it genealogy in the topic line. many_colors@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
you all very much for taking the time to read this and for any
information or help that you may be ale to provide me with.
Sincerely
many_colors
