Well, it's usually Americans who say things like "I'm looking for the X
family
from WA", leaving you wondering whether it is Wa****ngton or Western
Australia.
Or they refer to "this country" or "the constitution" in Usenet posts
without
making it clear which they mean.

On the other hand Australians do sometimes refer to SA, and one is not
sure
whether it is South Africa or South Australia, so I try to remember to
either
spell it out or at least use RSA. 

But I slipped up in this instance.
