them is "down under" never a South Australia or Western Australia.

state of Wa****ngton in the US of A.

Anytime we use USA is gonna be US of A - if we are overseas or talking to
internationals on the Net, USA is easier for Americans on paper but when
speaking 'America' is usually first choice for an American because USA is
foreign to our ears and that's because America is just (4) syllables and
USA is (9) syllables.

We don't distinguish North and South Americas for what happens to Canada?
Though they'd like to be separate Canadians do realize they are on the
North American continent. And it's only Quebec that feels separate not all
of Canada. And what about Mexico and Central America? All on the North
American continent.
